Visit by prime minister Alexander De Croo
On Thursday, 16th of May, we had the pleasure of welcoming our Prime Minister Alexander De Croo !
The Prime Minister came to meet the entrepreneurs of our vibrant City of Veurne with Trotec as guest company. This was an excellent opportunity for us to introduce Trotec extensively to the Prime Minister.
Since our LIFE F3-project is coming to an end in June, we took his visit as the perfect opportunity to present our project and the positive results & impact of our activity on environment and climate to a wide public.
During the presentation, we presented the extra quantities of complex former foodstuffs we were able to process into a circular animal feed thus contributing even more to circular economy and lowering the CO2-footprint of animal feed. The positive results of our LIFE project clearly prove the positive effect and effectiveness of the LIFE-programme on environment and climate.
Not only the Prime Minister attended the event, also the council and mayor of Veurne, and a lot of entrepreneurs came to listen to our presentation.
Afterwards, entrepreneurs were able to ask questions to the prime minister focused on crucial topics such as energy transition, the Green Deal, immigration and legislation regarding neighboring areas.
His visit underscores our ongoing commitment to innovation, sustainability and business cooperation.
We are sure the Prime Minister will remember his visit to Trotec and Veurne and thank him for his interest.
